“I’ve been building and servicing marine diesel engines for years, and this was hands down one of the worst parts supply experiences I’ve dealt with. I ordered two complete B-series rebuild kits from Diesel Power Pro / Pro Power along with additional engine components. What followed was a month-long nightmare of wrong parts, mislabeled components, delays, and constant back-and-forth just trying to get basic issues corrected. Problems included: • Wrong oversized pistons sent AFTER providing correct engine and part numbers • Bearings packaged in correctly labeled boxes, but the actual bearings inside were wrong • Five out of six bearing sets were incorrect • One bearing set didn’t even appear to match the application at all • Cooling nozzle jets supplied that do not fit the engine platform ordered for • Sold duplicate “complete” gasket sets for nearly $1,000 even though the rebuild kits already included them Any professional mechanic knows this isn’t just inconvenient — this destroys scheduling, delays machine shop work, delays customer jobs, and wastes countless labor hours verifying and correcting supplier mistakes. The biggest issue was the customer service afterward. I returned the duplicate parts, they received them on the 16th of last month, and I JUST NOW finally received my refund over a month later after repeated follow-ups and constant resistance. Mistakes happen in the diesel industry. Every mechanic understands that. But repeated application errors, mislabeled parts, incorrect packaging, and fighting customers during resolution is unacceptable from a company selling engine rebuild components. If you order from this company, verify EVERY SINGLE PART before assembly. Measure everything. Inspect everything. Do not trust the labeling on the boxes.”
